The Slider
The slider is normally a tough pitch to throw form younger pitchers. It is hard to deviate from a slider and a curveball.
But the slider can be very effective with its big sweeping movement.
You hold the slider basically the same as a curveball but when you throw it you keep your wrist stiff like when you throw
a football. this will create a nice tight horizontal spin.
